I discovered the first path to attaining Well-Being in the late '70's. Deciding to quit smoking and begin working out, I discovered a small health food store next to the fitness center. There, a whole new world opened up: first, herbs to ease the cravings and to aid in detoxification, then a referral to a holistic MD who proved to me that the food we put in our mouths really does have an effect on our bodies. A radical concept for the 70's!

Then in the mid 80's, Barbara Hribar (who really is an earth angel) entered my life and walked me down the rest of the paths. Introducing me to Nature’s Sunshine and information about Herbs, Vitamins, Minerals, Whole Foods, Spiritual matters and more were shared and as they say, the rest is history. I studied voraciously, traveling all over the country to learn all I could.
